Probate Law Resource Guide
This publication outlines the probate process, describes why probate is necessary, and provides many useful terms used in probate. Additionally, it identifies and explains the numerous matters that are under the jurisdiction of the Probate Court in Missouri. This guide is produced and revised by the Probate Trust Division of The Missouri Bar (2024).

Family Law Resource Guide
Most family law matters are not under the jurisdiction of the Probate Court. However, this publication provides useful information regarding disabled minors reaching the age if 18 and how the child becoming an adult legally affects the parent-child relationship. Relevant guardianship and conservatorship matters (pages 35-37) are under the jurisdiction of the Probate Court. This publication is published by the Missouri Bar Association (2024).

Senior Citizens Handbook
This publication is in its 21st edition and its 23 chapters cover topics such as the difference between Social Security and Social Security Income, Medicare and Medicaid, elder abuse law, predatory loans, and housing discrimination, to name a few chapters. Subject matter experts from across Missouri contributed to its offerings. Much of the material is relevant to young adults as well as seniors.
